So, needless to say, I am looking more than forward to more from its director, Leslye Headland – which is exactly what we are getting soon.
Sleeping with Other People is Headland’s follow-up to Bachelorette, and it stars Scream 4’s Alison Brie, who stepped in for Kirsten Dunst after she dropped out for whatever reason, and Jason Sudeikis. They play a remorseful serial cheater and a sweet, yet unabashed womanizer that meet at a sex-addict support group.
Except they met long before that. Like, when he popped her cherry.
A tentative relationship and plenty of hilarity ensue (Adam Scott, Natasha Lyonne, Amanda Peet, and Marc Blucas from TV’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star, btw).
Sleeping with Other People will be in theaters on Sept. 11. Check out the movie’s red-band trailer now.
