The Hunger Games player has been cast in the forthcoming Independence Day sequels, o.k.a. ID Forever parts 1 and 2.
Director Roland Emmerich made the announcement himself, via Twitter yesterday. He also confirmed that Jeff Goldblum will be part of the follow-ups, presumably in the same role he played in the original.
No word on whether the powers that be are still trying to lure Will Smith back to sign up for more, or on whether Fantastic Four star Michael B. Jordan’s still attached to the project.
