Here We Go Again...

You must agree that, if there was a gift that kept on givin’ back in the mid-1990s, that easily was the O.J. Simpson trial.

So like, what...a good thing that 2014 has completely been the year of widespread ’90s-tinged nostalgia, ’cause here we go again....

Ryan Murphy is launching a potential new anthology series in the form of a 10-episode FX proposition titled The People v. O.J. Simpson: Amercian Crime Story.

For real.

Murphy is so serious about this he already has lined up his O.J.: Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr. – in, perhaps, his meatier part since 1996’s Jerry Maguire will play the disgraced football star-turned-murder defendant.

Frequent Murphy collaborator Sarah Paulson will portray prosecutor Marcia Clark.

The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story will be based on The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson by Jeffrey Toobin.
