The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford Oscar nominee is going to produce and star in a movie based on the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
The project – based on Boston Strong, by Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge – will chronicle the massive manhunt that followed the attack on Boston two April 15s ago, as well as the city’s response to the events.
No word of just kind of character Affleck will take on, but it is safe to say it probably will be a heroic or inspiring one.
